Bonfire uses some externally licensed art and assets. This page lists each of them, the original creator, and the licence, with our thanks.
This list grows as we use more assets on the site — it is not limited to what is below.
1. Character avatars
The character avatars everyone uses in the camp are built on the open-source package react-nice-avatar (by wwayne, MIT licence). The art inside that package is adapted from the Avatar Illustration System designed by Micah Lanier (Figma account @Micah), released under CC BY 4.0 (attribution).

2. Scene illustrations
The camp has ten scenes, each in two art styles — 20 backdrops plus the world map. All of them were generated by Bonfire with AI and then retouched and selected by hand. No third-party stock imagery is used.
3. Background music
Of the background music you can choose in a camp room, six tracks were made by Bonfire: Marimba Morning Hop, Afterhours Groove Club, Sophisticated Jazz, Rain on Felt Keys, Study Desk Drizzle, Velvet After Hours.
The other three (Lo-fi Restaurant, Lo-fi Chill Vlog Beats, Lo-fi Midnight Club) come from an external music library and are properly licensed.
The ambient sounds (fire, rain, wind, room tone) are not audio files. They are synthesised live in your browser, with no external assets.
